Lee Jamieson


Lee became the pulpit minister at the Central church of Christ in October, 2005 following five years serving the church in Luverne, Alabama. He graduated from Southern Christian University with a Masters Degree in 2002. Additionally, he holds a Batchelor’s Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

In 1988, Lee married Kathy Edwards and the couple now has two children: Lee, Jr. (3/3/96) and Madelaine (2/28/98). Kathy is also a graduate of UNC and is currently working her thesis to complete a Master’s Degree at Auburn University at Montgomery. Following 10 years as a licensed contractor in North Carolina, Lee decided to devote himself to the ministry. Raised in a Marine Corps family, Lee was born in New York and has lived throughout the Southeastern US and in California and Arizona.

Each November Lee is an active participant along with 50 other preachers in the Columbia Bible Institute, sponsored by the Graymere (Columbia, TN) church of Christ and led by brother Tom Holland and brother William Woodson. Further, Lee is a board member and Counselor at Camp Wiregrass Christian Youth Camp in Enterprise, AL. At least once per year, Lee travels to the Republic of Panama as an evangelist. His work in Panama is in cooperation with Panama Missions (medical missions and evangelism) which is overseen by the elders of the Childersburg, AL church.
