Welcome to the Central Church Deaf Ministry!

All of our services are interpreted for the deaf. We welcome all deaf members of our community to join us for our worship services!

At Central, we have a few hearing members who interpret regularly and several who are working on their sign language skills! We occasionally have a Wednesday night multi-level Sign Language class that is taught by one of our deaf members. This class is scheduled based when there are enough people interested in the class.

There are many ways for hearing members to help with this ministry - one very important way is to learn sign language so you may communicate effectively with our deaf members and visitors. Attend Sign Language class you are never too young or too old to learn!!

LTC Signing Program:

Students of Central LTC Signing can learn the following:

• Religious Signing
• Interpreting Scriptures, Gospels and Sermons
  
• Music/Hymns
  
• Bible Study
  

Students will have the unique opportunity to pair classroom training with actual “hands-on” interpreting in a worship context. We believe that students from all backgrounds will be enriched by the experience gained interpreting in the inspiring setting.
